Why can't I see the images in the presentation?

The pictures in the slides are mapped to a directory on drive D:If your CD-ROM drive is not listed as D: then the pictures will not load properly. There are two fixes for this problem:

• Copy the /MEDIA directory from the CD-ROM to D: if the letter is your hard drive.

• Change the drive letter of the CD-ROM to D: if that letter is available.
  

When I install the catalog software I receive an error message about a string not being long enough?

This problem occurs when you install Cumulus 4 on Windows 2000 or Windows XP.  Cumulus 5 is located in the Software Installs directory of the CD and will run properly on Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Install directly from the Software Installs directory located on the CD-ROM.

There is a PowerPoint file named Presentation Macros V4.1ppt located in the root level of the CD-ROM. This file will run various macros and the explanations or instructions associated with them.

Check to see that the appropriate security settings in PowerPoint are set to medium or low. These settings can be lowered in PowerPoint in the following order: Tools - Macro - Security. Once you have adjusted the security, restart PowerPoint to make sure that the changes were applied.

There is a problem with using 3.x of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Upgrade to version 4.05 or better. You can download the latest version from Adobe Systems.
